The mission of Summit Golf Foundation (SGF) is to equip and challenge young people to excel in life through the game of golf.

In a single round of golf, players must use their integrity, respect, and skill to overcome adversity and experience success.  The same is true in life.  By combining the teachings of positive character traits with golf fundamentals, SGF helps youth navigate around the golf course and through life.

Summit Golf Foundation (SGF) is a golf school and academy that offers youth a chance to play golf. SGF was created to provide a junior golf program for youth in foster care AND other youth in the Vancouver and Portland-Metro area. SGF provides a welcoming learning environment open to youth ages 6-18 who want to have fun while learning and playing the game of golf. The exemplary instructional program will focus on providing learning criteria, skill development, and golf course access for individuals of all abilities. This instruction will be delivered by PGA Teaching Professionals and trained coaches.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our success lies in making a difference in the lives of youth.  As a volunteer, you can make a difference from golf instruction and fundraising to mentoring and much more.  SGF welcomes both financial and equipment contributions.
